A toned-down version of Zumba! A fun aerobics-type class, part dance and part fitness, based primarily on Latin American & International style music. Geared to the deconditioned person/beginner exerciser and the active older adult. For those that may be hesitant to go “full-out” for whatever reason, Zumba Gold is the way to go! Judy McMillen is a licensed Zumba Gold Instructor. Ages 14+

Hatha Flow Yoga   reg_now_orange
Multi-level class incorporates yoga poses, conscious breathing and a meditative focus to foster strength, flexibility and relaxation. Each class includes the following phases: checking in and warming up; building heat and awakening energy; focused strength, balance and breath work; deep stretching and a final relaxation. Various options will be provided for more or less intensity throughout the class so  that it is tailored to individual participant needs. Participants should wear layers of comfortable cIMG_0091 (2)lothing and bring a yoga mat, strap and block. Class will be taught by Charla Lorenzen, a certified Hatha Yoga instructor. No experience necessary. Ages 14+

Insanity   reg_now_orange
calls itself “Insanity,” you know it’s going to be over the top.  this is one of the most challenging fitness programs on the market. Insanity is a total body workout that requires no gym or equipment using your own body weight for resistance instead. The program is based on a fitness method called “max interval training. Max interval training has you work as hard as you can for 3-minute intervals, with 30-second periods of rest in between. Exercising at this extreme intensity level will help you burn up to 1,000 calories an hour. Class is good for any fitness level since modifications will be shown for all exercises. Courtney Lesnik is a certified Insanity instructor. Bring a yoga mat. Ages 14+

An all-encompassing class designed for the active older adult or those new to exercise. Class is comprised of light to moderate intensity, low-impact, aerobic component followed by exercised geared to improve balance, strength and flexibility in a variety of different ways (adaptable to most levels). Class is taught by Cindy Lohr-DeBuono who has 40+ years of experience teaching all ages and levels, as an instructor, instructor trainer and presenter for national certifying agencies. Please bring a mat and weights. Other “workout props” will be provided.
